I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Canal House, beautifully tucked away in Amsterdam with easy access to attractions like the Anne Frank House. The boutique style of the hotel shone through with personal touches and an attentive staff that made me feel welcomed. However, the compact size of the rooms might be a consideration for some travelers looking for more space. Overall, the luxurious amenities and great location definitely made my stay nice! 😊

Staying at Canal House was a highlight of my trip. The hotel exudes charm with its unique decor and excellent location along the canals. I experienced a few hiccups regarding the breakfast options and some initial noise issues in my first room, but overall, the staff's service was excellent and made my stay truly enjoyable.

I had a good two-night stay at Canal House, where the charm of the quirky decor and the tranquility of the garden left a lasting impression. The bed was incredibly comfortable, enhancing my overall experience. However, the breakfast service was a bit disorganized, with items taking a considerable amount of time to arrive, although they graciously waived part of the bill as a gesture. Overall, it's a lovely choice for anyone wanting to explore Amsterdam's beauty.

Rooms
8.0
The room I stayed in featured large windows overlooking the garden, providing a peaceful view. While the decor was charming, the layout made the shower quite steamy and left the toilet in a dimly lit corner, which was less than ideal.
Service
9.0
The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. I appreciated the personal touches, like checking in daily to ensure I was comfortable and happy during my stay.
Location
9.0
Situated directly on a canal, the location was perfect. It felt safe and was conveniently close to major attractions while being slightly removed from the bustling city center.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was of high quality, with a diverse selection of foods. Unfortunately, the service could be improved, as orders took quite a while to be fulfilled.
Facilities

The hotel offered several nice amenities, including a serene garden, which I'm sure would be even lovelier in full bloom. However, it lacked a restaurant outside of breakfast, which was a bit disappointing considering the hotel's overall quality.

My stay at Canal House was nothing short of enchanting. The location was perfect—right on the canal, close to the Anne Frank House and so many cute restaurants. I loved my spacious room with the comfy bed, but had a little hiccup with the inconsistency of staff service if you can believe it. Overall though, I’d totally go back in a heartbeat!

The service was mostly fantastic—especially with Owen, who checked us in and was super nice! But I did experience some unfriendly staff on my last day, which was a bit of a downer.

Breakfast was included and really good, with plenty of options. Although I would've loved hot breakfast included instead of for an extra charge. Still, the continental spread was impressive and well-presented.

My stay at Canal House in Amsterdam was truly amazing! The hotel has a charming and unique decor that reflects the city's artistic vibe. The location by the canals is fantastic, allowing easy access to nearby attractions. However, the absence of a lift directly from reception to the rooms could be a challenge for some guests. Overall, it was a luxurious experience with a personal touch from the staff that made it nice.

Rooms

The rooms were stylish and comfortable, beautifully decorated with lovely views of the canal. I really appreciated the high-end bathing products and the daily supply of fresh glass-bottled water. Although it was a bit smaller than I expected, the cozy atmosphere made up for it.
